Spring Hill Hotel

The cold spring of the Spring Hill Hotel has been explored and can date back to the Japanese Rule Period. It was called Gangshantou Hot Spring. The precious natural spring gushing from the rock features water that is colorless, odorless, at low temperature; It's a PH-7 carbonated spring flowing all year round and contains rich mineral substances; the formation of a cold spring must meet 2 requirements, one is abundant underground water, the other is the rocks that generate a large amount of carbon dioxide. The mountain area in Tianliao has unique geological structure and abundant rainfall, and the limestone in the Dagangshan makes the place meet the requirement. Besides, the abundant trace mineral elements melted from the rock achieve the formation of southern Taiwan's unique natural carbonated spring, which is also known as Beauty Onsen. It is beneficial to skin care and help relieve muscle soreness.

Dagangshan Hot Spring was formerly called "Gangshantou Hot Spring"

In 1938 (ROC 27), the Japanese Navy Air Force Workshop was built at the summit of Dagangshan, and the wood huts were built as the sentry stations.

Afterward, the Gangshan Police division was established; at the same time, the Police Health Center was established and made "Gangshantou" start the hot spring history during the Japanese Ruled Period. Both President Chiang visited here and enjoyed leisure. However, Dagangshan Hot Spring declined with the development and changes over time, and it was deserted in the end.
Finally, UJB Construction Corporation with over 20 years of experience in professional construction skills and the development of living quality invested a large amount of money and 3 years on carefully designing the place with existing mountains, water, flowers, and trees. In 2009, after the Spring Hill Hotel started operation, the Dagangshan natural spring, which has been deserted for decades, was given new life and energy.
