Cishan Jiaoxiang Pavilion

The Jiaoxiang Pavilion is located next to No. 244 of Cishan Xizhou Area’s Zhongzhou Village. It was created by the Cishan United Community Construction Association leader Cheng-chuan Kuo, Mr. and Mrs. Shu-jing Lu, and a group of enthusiastic volunteers. Together, they built a unique and stylish leisure location within the Xizhou Area.

Car: National Freeway 10→ Get off the interchange at 22-Lingkou Exit → stay on the Cijia Public Road/ Route 29→ Turn right at Huaxing Street→ Turn right at Nanzhou Street→ turn left at Zhongzhou Road
Many materials within the park are recycled: the old pallets were collected from the demolished Qishan Landscape Bridge, the bricks were replaced by bricks from the Zhongshan Park, the park used driftwood left behind during Typhoon Morakot, the wasted wood was remade into stairs, and stones were rearranged into stone furniture. Wasted furniture was transformed and rebuilt into tables and chairs as the pavilion, the artificial ecological pool and the overall landscape are very environmentally friendly.
The artificial ecological pool within the park, named "Silly Lake" has a leisure trail around it (the Banana Trail). The green beautification within the park has achieved remarkable results and the ecological rehabilitation and conservation effects are quite evident as the environment was originally a wasteland. As the nature-filled park now has a pond, health trails and lotus ponds, the park also has the protected Grass Owls. The Park is now known as Xizhou’s "back garden."
The Jiaoxiang Pavilion Park not only adds a lot of green and beautiful landscapes, but also provides a venue for people and children to take nice walks, appreciate the beautiful scenery and rest.
