Kaohsiung Music Hall

The Kaohsiung Music Hall is on the banks of the Love River and close to the National Museum of Taiwan History and Industrial and Commerce Exhibition Center. It was completed and commenced at the end of 2000. It contains a concert hall with the capacity of 400 pax, an outdoor music square with the capacity over 2000 pax, and a five-story building. The concert hall is on the first floor and is three-stories high with the capacity of 384 pax. It is great for small indoor performances. The Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra and the Kaohsiung Chinese Orchestra gather here for daily rehearsals.
Music bands can use the concert hall for indoor rehearsals and performances. Sometimes events are held at the outdoor music stage outside the concert hall to adapt with all kinds of events or art markets. The Kaohsiung Music Hall is in front of Love River and it has a great view. A café is available in the outdoor square. On holidays, visitors can sit under the trees with family and drink coffee while enjoying the music. Visitors can also stroll on the trail along the banks of the Love River, one of the most romantic scenic spots in Kaohsiung, to watch all kinds music performances and busking. The areas nearby and the banks of the Love River are filled with leisure culture and romance because of the music performance and busking.
