Dream Mall

Dream Mall is located at Zhonghua 5th Road in Qianzhen District, Kaohsiung City. The overall planning focuses on the four major conceptual themes of water, flower, nature and universe. Dream Mall is made of a fish-shaped architecture and the main structure, which integrates the concepts of nature and ocean with everyday living in between the two buildings, bringing forth an extraordinarily unique style of design. Among them all, the Hello Kitty Ferris Wheel at the rooftop named “Kaohsiung Eye” is the most distinctive feature and has even become a new scenic landmark in Kaohsiung City.

A large-scale shopping malllocated in Qianzhen District, Kaohsiung City, itofficially opened for business on March 30th, 2007, and it was the first phase of the development plan led by President Fair Development Corporation under the Uni-President Group. Dream Mall occupies a land area of approximately 15,000 ping (50,000 m2) with a total floor areas of approximately 121,000 ping (400,000 m2), which includes a 78,000-ping (260,000-m2) shopping mall and 43,000-ping (140,000-m2) of car parking space. Dream Mall is constructed by connecting two major structures – the 7-floors “Blue Whale Annex” and 10-floors Main Annex above ground with the two floors underground. At the rooftop of the Main Annex stands a 102.5-meter tall Ferris wheel, from where the city and the ocean views can be clearly seen. It is currently the largest shopping center in Taiwan.
