The place was previously an old aluminum factory in the Japanese colonial period, and now, it's rented by MLD and has been transformed into a multi-functional space of life that combines Food and Beverage, cinema hall, banquet, book house, exhibition and performance hall in the fusion mall featuring unique local attraction.

It was an aluminum factory, which was built in the Japanese colonial period. Its production is sufficient for the supply of construction materials for heavy industry throughout Taiwan. The aluminum smelter has over 80 years of history. It witnesses the glorious time of Taiwan's prosperous heavy industry. In such a historical industrial structure, we kept the giant Y-shaped steel beam structure, which is a symbolic icon for its importance in Kaohsiung's heavy industry. We also kept the name Tailu (means Taiwan Aluminum)
