Xiziwan Beach Park

Scene Introduction The sunset in the Xiziwan Beach Park is one of Kaohsiung's Best Eight Scenic Spots. Before the privatization, the place is a simple and primitive beach for people to take a walk, count the number of ships and admire the sunset. The privatization started in 2001. In the first 2 years, the strengthening and construction works were carried out. Afterward, the environment management has been implemented, not only remove much waste and floating wood brought by typhoons, there were 200 coconut trees planted in the beach park to beautify the space. On the beach, to find the tables and chairs to go with the umbrellas for the beach, the management unit ordered the table and chair sets custom-made in Penghu, very durable, beautiful, and comfortable. In addition, there are many water activity equipment imported from Europe and the US; besides the must-have banana boat, donut-shaped swimming tubes, and jet skis, there're some other types of equipment people have never seen in Taiwan, such as stunt speedboat, storm pie, Popeye the Sailor, Dream Sofa, soft surfing bodyboard, banana island, rocket, torpedo, etc. Many kinds of powered and unpowered water activity equipment bring a lot of fun to the beach.

There's a snack house next to the beach park called Sunlight Glass House. It's a glass house on the beach. With a 3 meters tall floor-to-ceiling window, the interior is designed in the authentic southeast atmosphere, very relaxing and comfortable. Guests can enjoy tea and snacks while admiring sea view or sunset. People who want to enjoy the natural sea breeze can sit at the seats decorated with twitch grass to have closer contact with the spacious sea view and the coconut beach.
If you are not interested in water fun, it's suggested to buy the meal coupons. You can enjoy a meal and take a walk on the beach to admire the sunset. Each meal coupon is NT$120, which includes the entry ticket of the beach park at NT$70 and a set meal. The value you perceived is higher than the ticket price.
