Children’s Museum of Art

Taiwan’s first government-run Museum of Art created exclusively for children, the Museum focuses on “Please Do-It-Yourself” interactive exhibitions and educational promotion events. Currently, two full-time staff and two outsourced staff are assigned to the Museum, and there are also nearly 200 volunteers working at the Children’s Museum of Art. Every year, in addition to the unique, fun, and educational interactive exhibitions planned out for special themes, many kids- or family-friendly promotional activities are also planned out periodically on specific holidays, weekends and during summer vacations. Facilities such as the chameleon public art at the entrance, the sandpit at the grand entrance, the “Footprint Maze” and “Art Chair” in front of the Museum integrate with the natural sceneries nearby. The Museum is the best venue for families to travel to, to appreciate, and to learn together.
